
Elliot Williams Named 2016 NBA D-League All-Star

NEW YORK, New York. - The NBA Development League today announced that Elliot Williams has been selected to represent the Western Conference at the 2016 NBA D-League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire on Saturday, Feb. 13. The game, featuring 24 top prospects from the NBA's official minor league, will air live on NBA TV and NBA TV Canada at 5 p.m. PST from Toronto's Ricoh Coliseum.
This is Williams's second consecutive All-Star selection after representing Santa Cruz in the 2015 NBA D-League All-Star game at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York. He finished with 16 points, 6 assists, five rebounds, and a pair of steals.
Williams was named NBA Development League Performer of the Week on Monday after averaging a league-leading 42.0 points on 54.4 percent shooting. The recognition was the second such award this season for Williams, who also was honored on Dec. 21. He was given the NBA D-League Player of the Month nod for games played in November 2015, the first of Williams' NBA D-League career.
For the season, Williams leads the NBA D-League with 29.7 points to go with 7.0 rebounds and 5.9 assists.
