Green and Hunter Selected to 2015 NBA Development League All-Star Game

RENO, Nev. - Today, the NBA Development League announced the roster for the 2016 NBA Development League All-Star Game, presented by Kumho Tire. Erick Green and Vince Hunter will represent the Bighorns on the All-Star team when they tip-off Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Toronto Ricoh Coliseum.

Green (6-3, 178), recently signed a 10-day contract with the Utah Jazz. Green played in 23 games (22 starts) with the Bighorns during the 2015-16 season, averaging 26.7 points on 53.3 percent shooting, 4.4 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 39.0 minutes of action. He has scored in double figures in 22 games, including 20-plus points on 19 occasions. He scored 30-or-more points in nine contests and a career-high 40 points in two games.

Green appeared in 46 games (one start) over two seasons for Denver (2014-2015) and averaged 3.2 points in 9.1 minutes.

Hunter (6-8, 205), was assigned to the Bighorns at the start of the 2015-16 by the Sacramento Kings. During his time with the Bighorns, Hunter has played in 27 games (27 starts) averaging 22.3 points on 60.3 percent shooting, 11 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 32.5 minutes per game. He has logged 17 double-doubles in 27 contests with scoring 20-plus points in 18 games. Hunter scored his season-high in mid-December with 36 points.

Hunter joined the Philadelphia 76ers for 2016 Summer League in Las Vegas where he averaged 7.0 points, and 5.5 rebounds per game in 13.5 minutes of play.

The Bighorns return to the Reno Events Center Sunday, Jan. 31 at 3 P.M. to host the Santa Cruz Warriors. All fans who wear an NFL jersey or Sacramento Kings gear will receive a $10 ticket special. The first 1000 fans in attendance during the Sunday contest will receive a Bighorns tumbler.
