Inf Carlos Triunfel Rejoins Isotopes

Infielder Carlos Triunfel rejoined the Albuquerque Isotopes this afternoon, and in a corresponding move, outfielder Jeremy Hazelbaker was sent to Double-A Chattanooga.

In 52 games with the Isotopes this season, Triunfel has hit .210 with six doubles, one home run and 14 RBI. During three different stints with the Dodgers, he has batted .154 with one double and one RBI in 10 games.

Hazelbaker appeared in 21 games for the Topes this season, batting .230 with three doubles, two triples, four home runs and 11 RBI. In 46 games for Chattanooga this year, he has hit .285 with five doubles, seven triples, three homer and 23 RBI. He began the year withChattanooga before initially joining Albuquerque on May 29.

Right-hander Carlos Frias was suspended 10 games by the Pacific Coast League prior to Thursday night's series finale at El Paso following his ejection from the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader.

Albuquerque opens a four-game, three-day series against the Las Vegas 51s tonight at 6:05 p.m. Right-hander Jeff Bennett (4-3, 3.29 ERA) will get the start for the Isotopes, while the 51s will go with left Darin Gorski (2-2, 3.97 ERA).
