Round Rock Express News Release

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Round Rock Express welcomed a crowd of 12,951 fans at Dell Diamond on Friday, July 4. That is the largest crowd on an Independence Day game (July 3rd or 4th) in team history and the third largest overall.

The two largest crowds in team history came on nights when former Major Leaguers Roger Clemens (13,475 - 6/16/06) and Andy Pettitte (13,414 - 6/18/04) made rehab starts for the Express. Last year's July 4th game was the third largest in Express history until this year (12,911).

The Express continues Red, White and Blue Weekend tomorrow night with a great postgame fireworks spectacular. The current homestand continues through Thursday, July 10. Great seats still remain for all games.
