RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond rallied for four runs in the fourth inning to post a 4-3 win over Indianapolis in the nightcap of Tuesday evening's doubleheader at The Diamond. 2B Craig Stansberry crushed a grand slam in the opener to give the Indians a 7-4 victory over the Braves.

Indianapolis (74-64) and Toledo (74-64) are now tied for first place in the International League's West Division with six regular-season contests remaining. The Indians move on to a two-game series at Norfolk, while the Mud Hens will visit Charlotte for a pair of tilts.

CF Vic Buttler led the Tribe by going 4-for-7 with four runs and one RBI in Tuesday's twinbill, while RF Adam Boeve added a 3-for-8 night with one run and one RBI.

Richmond took a 3-1 advantage in the first inning of the opener on RF Brian Jordan's first Triple-A homer of the season -- a three-run shot to left.

Both teams scored in the fifth. The Indians knotted the contest with two runs in the top half of the inning before the Braves jumped back in front with one in their next at-bat.

Indianapolis then pulled ahead for good on Stansberry's third dinger of the season -- a rocket to left center. The Tribe's first grand slam of 2006 came after Boeve and SS J.J. Furmaniak drilled back-to-back singles, while Buttler was hit by a pitch.

3B Willy Aybar, C Brayan Pena and SS Cesar Crespo collected two hits apiece for Richmond in the opener.

Indians RHP Ron Chiavacci (5.0 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 3 BB, 6 SO) picked up the game one win, evening his record at 4-4. LHP C.J. Nitkowski (0.2 IP, 2 SO) recorded the game's final two outs for his fourth save of the campaign.

Richmond RHP Peter Moylan (3.2 IP, 4 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 2 BB, 2 SO) suffered the game one loss, falling to 1-7.

The Braves used a four-run fourth to erase a 3-0 deficit in the nightcap. 1B Carlos Mendez got things rolling with a walk before 2B Cesar Crespo roped a single to right center. RF Jamal Strong followed with an RBI base knock to right, while C Dax Norris knotted the contest with a two-run double to left.

Richmond LHP Will Startup (2.0 IP, 1 H, 2 SO) picked up the game two victory, improving to 4-2. RHP Manny Acosta (1.0 IP, 2 BB) got through the seventh for his 15th save of the season.

RHP Matt Ginter (5.0 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 5 SO) was pinned with the game two setback, falling to 2-6 with the Indians and 5-14 overall.

Indianapolis wraps up its nine-game road trip with a two-game set at Norfolk. RHP John Van Benschoten is scheduled to start for the Indians in Wednesday night's series opener at 7:15 p.m., while the Tides are expected to counter with RHP Brian Bannister.

The game will be carried live by ESPN-950 AM and IndyIndians.com as Howard Kellman and Scott McCauley have the call. Wednesday's pre-game show will begin at 6:55 p.m.
