Ice Pilots Win Three In A Row & Play Home On Sunday

What Happened Last week
The Ice Pilots won all three games this past weekend to improve their record to 17-11-4 for 38 points. The Ice Pilots won 4-1 at home vs. Mississippi on Friday night. Chris Minard scored two goals in the game for the Ice Pilots. The Ice Pilots won 3-2 in overtime at Columbus on Saturday night. Jeremy Van Hoof scored the game winning goal in overtime. Brain Eklund was the winning goalie stopping a personal season high 42 shots. The Ice Pilots won 4-3 in a shootout on Sunday vs. Arkansas. Louis Dumont scored two goals in the game for the Ice Pilots.

NEXT HOME GAME THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON
The Ice Pilots will play home to Baton Rouge this Sunday at 5:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots have a record of 5-0-1 vs. Baton Rouge this season. The last meeting between the two teams was on December 7th at Baton Rouge with the Ice Pilots winning 4-3.

CHUCKIE FROM THE RUGRATS WILL BE AT THE GAME SUNDAY
Chuckie from the Rugrats will be at the game on Sunday for the kids. It is Kids Day. Kids 12 and under get in free with a paid adult.

ICE PILOTS PLAY AT BATON ROUGE ON FRIDAY AND AT MISSISSIPPI ON SATURDAY
The Ice Pilots will play at Baton Rouge on Friday at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots are 5-0-1 vs. Baton Rouge this season with a record of 2-0-1 at home and 3-0 on the road. The Ice Pilots have an all-time record of 27-15-5 vs. the Kingfish including a record of 16-4-4 at home and 11-11-1 on the road. The Ice Pilots will play at Mississippi on Saturday night at 7:35 p.m. The Ice Pilots are 2-3-1 vs. Mississippi this season including a record of 1-2 at home and 1-1-1 on the road. The Ice Pilots have an all-time record of 16-30-4 vs. Mississippi including a record of 9-14-1 at home and 7-16-3 on the road.

ICE PILOTS INTRODUCE FOUR GAME GATOR HUNT TICKET PACKAGE
Fans will have the ! opportunity to purchase four games vs. Louisiana on January 25th, February 8th, February 15th and March 15th. Four tickets for as low as $40. If fans buy their tickets now, they will receive an autographed collectible program and first option to buy your seat for the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Purchase the Gator Hunt ticket package through the Ice Pilots office at 432-PUCK.

Ticket Information
Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center Box Office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. Individual game tickets cost $22 for floor and glass, $15 for sides, $13 for goals and lower upper and $10 for upper level tickets. Season tickets are available for the full season, 16 game plan, 8 game plan and flex package. Fans can call the Ice Pilots office for ticket information at 432-PUCK.

Group Tickets
Group tickets are available at the Ice Pilots office. A group of 15-24 will receive $2 off per ticket and scoreboard recognition. A group of 25-99 will receive $2 off per ticket, scoreboard recognition, the group leader receives two free tickets with a minimum of 25 tickets purchased and group members are eligible to become an MVP. Each group member fills out an MVP card, (cards are mailed with the group tickets), and drops the card in the MVP box at customer service before the game, and has the opportunity to win a valuable prize! Groups of 100 or more will receive scoreboard recognition, two free tickets, MVP cards plus $3 off per ticket and an opportunity to perform the national anthem or participate in the ceremonial puck drop (Subject to availability and approval).

Birthday Parties
Celebrate your birthday with the Ice Pilots. The Ice Pilots birthday party package includes hotdogs, cokes, cupcakes, 10 game t! ickets, a special gift pack for the birthday person delivered by Iceman, a birthday card signed by the Ice Pilots and scoreboard recognition. Ice Pilots top scorers
Greg Pankewicz is the top scorer on the Ice Pilots with 32 points and leads the team with 18 goals. Brad Dexter leads the team with 21 assists. Jeremy Van Hoof leads the team with a +19 plus/minus rating which is the best among ECHL defenseman. Brad Dexter is the seventh leading scoring defenseman in the league with 2 goals, 21 assists for 23 points. The Ice Pilots remain second in the league on the penalty kill at 86.2%.

Gingras among the top goalies in the league
Maxime Gingras begins the week among the leading goaltenders in the league in several categories. Gingras is fourth in the league with a .926 save percentage, fourth in the league with a 2.51 goals against average, and fourth in the league with 830 saves and 1577 minutes played.

Player of the week nominees
Forward Chad Theuer has been nominated for player of the week as he has a five game point scoring streak and Maxime Gingras has been nominated for goalie of the week.

Practice Schedule for week
The Ice Pilots have Monday off and will have an off ice workout at The Club on Tuesday at 10 a.m. The Ice Pilots will practice on Wednesday at Noon and at 10 a.m. on Thursday. The Ice Pilots will have a pre skate on Friday morning at 10 a.m. and leave for Baton Rouge on Friday at Noon and play at Baton Rouge at 7:05 p.m. on Friday night. The Ice Pilots will play at Mississippi on Saturday at 7:35 p.m. and play home on Sunday vs. Baton Rouge at 5:05 p.m.

Columbus Game Time Changes
The Ice Pilots games at Columbus has been changed. The new starting time for the games on Tuesday, January 14th and Saturday, March 29th is 6:30 p.m. central time.

Assigned Players from Tampa Bay, Springfield and Grand Rapids
The Ice Pilots have four assigned pro players fr! om Tampa Bay of the NHL. They are defensemen Jeremy Van Hoof, Marek Priechodsky and goalie Brian Eklund. Harlan Pratt is currently playing for Cincinnati of the AHL. Forward Chris Gignac, defenseman Brad Dexter and goalie Maxime Gingras are assigned from Springfield of the AHL. Gregor Baumgartner is assigned from Grand Rapids of the AHL.

Coach's Radio Show at Sal's Pizza Pub and Grill
The Ice Pilots Coach's Radio show is at Sal's Pizza Pub and Grill this season located at 620 E. Nine Mile Road. The show is broadcasted on the Ice Pilots hockey network from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Fans can hear the radio! show on WCOA AM 1370 and on the internet at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. Fans can meet Ice Pilots Head Coach Todd Gordon, Assistant Coach Ray Edwards and Ice Pilots President Charles Felix. Tonight's player guests are forwards Louis Dumont and Brad Cruikshank. The Ice Pilots will be on the road on Monday, January 13th in Ft. Myers and the show will be broadcast from Ft. Myers.

IT'S A LOCK...Thursday night the Admirals are guaranteeing their fans a win over their arch-rivals, the Chicago Wolves. If for some reason the Wolves find a way to win, all fans attending Thursday's game will be able to redeem their ticket stub for a free ticket to Saturday afternoon's game against the Griffins.

VS. BARONS...Tonight's game marks the third meeting of the year between the Milwaukee Admirals and the Cleveland Barons as the two teams face-off at the Gund Arena in Cleveland. The first two games have gone to overtime with the Admirals winning in Cleveland on November 30th. The two teams skated to a 3-3 tie in Milwaukee October 18th. All-time vs. the Barons, Milwaukee is 3-2-1-0 with a road mark of 1-2-0-0.

VS. WOLVES...For the final time this season, the defending Calder Cup Champion and arch-rival Chicago Wolves will make an appearance at the Bradley Center when the two teams face-off Thursday night. The Admirals own a 4-4-0-1 record through the first nine games of the 12-game season series against Chicago. Last Thursday's 4-3 win over the Wolves at the Bradley Center snapped a four game Chicago winning streak in the season series. Overall, Milwaukee is 46-33-1-9 against the Wolves with a Bradley Center mark of 27-16-0-5. In one-goal games against the Wolves, the Admirals are 26-12-0-9.

VS. GRIFFINS...Saturday afternoon the Admirals and Grand Rapids Griffins meet for the first time at the Bradley Center and the fourth time overall. In the three games at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, the Admirals are 1-1-1-0. The next three contests in the six game season series will be held at the Bradley Center. Milwaukee snapped a five game winless streak at Grand Rapids with a 6-1 win Saturday night. Milwaukee is 17-23-5-2 all-time against the Griffins.

ROSTER REVISIONS...Goaltender Brian Finley was recalled by the Nashville Predators Sunday and netminder Jan Lasak will return from Nashville for tonight's game. Center Vern Fiddler was recalled Thursday and left wing Darren Haydar, defenseman Andrew Hutchinson and right wing Konstantin Panov were all added to the roster last week.

ROAD POWER...The Admirals rank second among AHL teams in road power play percentage (22.2%). The team has scored 22 of their 32 power play goals on the road including 15 of their last 17 power play tallies.

A GAGGLE OF GOALIES...Dan Murphy became the fifth Admirals' goaltender of the season when he started Friday night's game vs. Houston. All five goalies have played within the last ten games. Jan Lasak started 16 of the first 19 games and was called-up to Nashville December 12th. Chris Madden and Brian Finely have each started five games. Brant Nicklin started one game for Milwaukee. The Admirals used only three goalies in all 80 games last season.

DUELING IN THE DIVISION...Through 20 games against West Division foes, Milwaukee is 11-7-1-1 and owns break-even or better records against all four divisional opponents. The overall breakdown includes a perfect mark against Utah (2-0-0-0) and winning records against Houston (2-1-0-0) and San Antonio (3-2-0-0). The team has broken even against Chicago (4-4-0-1).

WYATT AND HOLIDAY STILL A LETHAL COMBO...Center Wyatt Smith has sizzled during this holiday season. Since December 19th, Smith has scored seven goals in five games including a road hat trick at the Van Andel Arena Saturday night. He leads the team with three game-winning goals and has scored ten goals in just 16 games.
