Davyduke Loaned to Hershey

BILOXI, Miss. – Mississippi Sea Wolves coach Bob Woods announced today rookie all-star forward Kent Davyduke (DAHV-ih-duke) has been loaned to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.

Davyduke, 23, has scored 12 goals and picked up 19 assists for 31 points in 31 games this season. He was acquired in a trade with the Trenton Titans on December 5 for future considerations. In 11 games with Mississippi, Davyduke is on a point-per-game pace with five goals and six assists for 11 points. He was named an all-star reserve for the Southern Conference at next month's Compuware/ECHL All-Star Game. Davyduke played two games earlier this season with Hershey, collecting one goal and one assist.

The Sea Wolves next game is at home on Friday at 7:35 p.m. against the Columbus Cottonmouths. All military receive two tickets for the price of one, including all NASA and Stennis employees.

Mississippi completes its four-game homestand on Saturday at 7:35 p.m. versus the Pensacola Ice Pilots at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
