Houston Rockets Assign Guard Chris Chiozzo to Vipers

EDINBURG, Texas (Feb. 22, 2019) - The Houston Rockets announced today that they have assigned guard Chris Chiozza to their NBA G League Affiliate team, Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
Chiozza (6'0, 175) was also acquired by the Rockets via 10-day contract before being assigned to Rio Grande. He played the entirety of his NBA G League career with the Capital City Go-Go as a rookie where he averaged 13.1 points, 5 rebounds, and 6.8 assists in 36 appearances during the 2018-19 season. Chiozza was recently selected to the roster for USA Basketball ahead of the FIBA qualifiers.
