
Houston Dynamo FC Goalkeeper Michael Nelson Named to MLSSoccer.com Team of the Week

HOUSTON - Houston Dynamo FC goalkeeper Michael Nelson was named to the MLSSoccer.com Team of the Week this afternoon.
This is the first Team of the Week honor for Nelson, who finished with three saves in Houston's 1-1 draw with the LA Galaxy on Wednesday. The Katy native also earned his first clean sheet of the season in Houston's 3-0 victory over Austin FC on Saturday.
Nelson made his MLS debut on Aug. 28 at BBVA Stadium against Minnesota and has now started in four consecutive matches.
Houston will return to BBVA Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 18 to host FC Dallas for the third and final meeting of the regular season.
