Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club is proud to announce the selection of defenceman Grayden Siepmann (pronounced SEAP-min) with the 13th overall pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.

Siepmann is a 5-11, 165-pound product of Abbotsford, BC, who played with Yale Bantam Prep this past season. He was a point-a-game player in Yale recording 29 points (8g, 21a) in 29 games. He also tallied four points (2g, 2a) in five post-season contests helping his team win the league title.

"Grayden is an excellent skater who took a major step forward this season," said Hitmen Director of Player Personnel Dallas Thompson. "He is a puck mover who likes to join the rush but is also an excellent defender who can play in all situations."
