Pats Take Layton Feist in Round One of the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce they have selected defenceman Layton Feist in the first round of the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft in Red Deer, Alberta.

"Layton has great offensive instincts from the back end," said Pats Director of Scouting Dale McMullin. "He is a mobile defenceman with quick feet and he plays the game hard. We are happy to get him where we did in the first round."

Layton (5'10, 150), played the 2018-19 season with the Omaha North Zone Bantam AA, scoring eight goals and 22 points in 20 games.

Feist is from Dawson Creek, B.C. and is the younger brother to current Pats defenceman Tyson Feist.
