Winnipeg ICE Acquire '99-Born Forward Isaac Johnson from the Tri-City Americans

Winnipeg, MB - The Winnipeg ICE Hockey Club announced on Thursday that it has acquired '99-born forward Isaac Johnson from the Tri-City Americans.

In exchange, the Americans receive a 2019 fourth round draft pick. The ICE acquired that draft pick in a trade with Spokane in June 2018.

Johnson, from Andover, Minnesota, scored 12 goals and added 20 assists for 32 points in 31 regular season games for the Americans during the 2018-2019 campaign. The six-foot-two, 182-pound forward has 29 goals and 80 points in 99 career WHL regular season games. He also added five goals and 13 points in 14 playoff games in 2018.
