Tim Sestito scored twice, including the game-winning goal, to pace the Greenville Grrrowl past the Augusta Lynx on Sunday afternoon.

Sestito scored to open the game for the Grrrowl at the 2:00 mark form Jason Jozsa and Adam Nightingale. Sestito struck again at 13:00 to make it 2-0 Grrrowl with the eventual game-winner from Cody Blanshan and Tyler Mosienko. The Lynx would get one back on a power play goal from Joel Stepp, who wristed a shot from the slot over Mike Brodeur at 15:24 with assists from Nicolas Corbeil and Dan Sullivan.

Blanshan would collect his second point of the night on the middle frame's only goal, coming with just one second remaining. Blanshan's power play marker came courtesy of Matt Zultek and Allan Sirois to give Greenville a big momentum swing heading into the third period.

Just 2:19 into the third period, Rory McMahon sealed the victory for the Grrrowl by following his own rebound in front of the Lynx net for a 4-1 final.

Jason Wolfe finished with 34 saves in the loss while Mike Brodeur earned his tenth win of the year with a 32 save effort.

The Lynx will get back to action Tuesday night in Gwinnett against the Gladiators before returning home for a Wednesday rematch with the Pensacola Ice Pilots at 7:05 pm. The Classic Stucco and Stone Pre-Game Show kicks off one half-hour before game time on your Home for Lynx Hockey, NEWSTALKSPORTS 1630.
