Kelman called up to Manitoba

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that right wing Scott Kelman has been called up to the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

Kelman currently ranks second in scoring on the Gladiators with 19 points off of 6 goals and 13 assists. His 13 assists currently ranks first on the Gladiators in assists.

The Winnipeg, Manitoba native appeared in 24 games last season with the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League where he posted a goal and an assists.

Kelman was selected by the Phoenix Coyotes in the first round, #15 overall in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.

Kelman should be available for the Moose as they visit Philadelphia on Wednesday to take on the Phantoms at 10 a.m.

The Gwinnett Gladiators continue the 2005-06 ECHL season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Tuesday, December 6th as they host the Augusta Lynx at 7:05 p.m. The Gladiators offer several ticket packages for different needs as well as group outings, suites and birthday parties.
