Lee and Thompson Returned To Trenton

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have returned forwards Mark Lee and Chris Thompson to the ECHL's Trenton Titans. Lee and Thompson, who are both on AHL contracts to the Sound Tigers, had been recalled Saturday.

Lee made his AHL debut in the Sound Tigers' 3-0 home win over the Philadelphia Phantoms Saturday and has two goal, two assists, four points and ten penalty minutes in ten ECHL games with Trenton this season. Thompson appeared in his first two games as a Sound Tiger this weekend and is tied for the Titans team lead with six goals and also has two assists, eight points and 29 penalty minutes in 17 ECHL games this season.

The Sound Tigers will finish a three-game homestand when they host the Hershey Bears this Wednesday, December 7th at 11 a.m. in the third-annual, educationally-themed "Cool Fun 101" morning game. The Sound Tigers will then play three road games against the Norfolk Admirals this Friday, December 9th at 7:15 p.m. and the Hershey Bears this Saturday, December 10th at 7 p.m. and this Sunday, December 11th at 5 p.m.
