Friday, December 9th - INFERNO VS. WHEELING NAILERS - Toys for Tots - Bring an unwrapped toy to donate to the United States Marine Corp for their Toys for Tots Drive.
Saturday, December 10th - INFERNO VS. GWINNETT GLADIATORS - The Stanley Cup will be on the concourse and you will have the opportunity to have your picture taken with it. In no other professional sport is a trophy as synonymous with excellence and tradition, teamwork and sacrifice as is the Stanley Cup in the National Hockey League. The 111-year-old trophy honors those who compete and succeed at the highest level, and serves to mystify and intrigue both life-long hockey fans and new converts to the game with its etched chronicle of achievement and history.
THE WEEK AHEAD
Monday, December 5th Inferno @ Charlotte 7:05pm Char. Bobcats Arena
The Inferno is 1-0-0 this season and 17-6-4 all-time against the Checkers. This is the first game in Charlotte this season for the Inferno. The Checkers are currently tied for fourth place in the South Division with 19 points (9-6-1).
Friday, December 9th Inferno vs. Wheeling 7:05pm Carolina Coliseum
This is the first game in franchise history between the Inferno and Wheeling. The Nailers are currently tied for first place in the North Division with 25 points (12-5-1).
Saturday, December 10th Inferno vs. Gwinnett 7:05pm Carolina Coliseum
The Gwinnett Gladiators is in sixth place with 18 points (8-5-2) in the South Division. This is the first game between the Inferno and Gladiators this season. The Inferno is 7-4-1 all-time against Gwinnett.

Tuesday, November 29th INFERNO 6 Pensacola 5 (SO)
The Columbia Inferno snapped their five-game losing streak as they defeated the Pensacola Ice Pilots in a shootout, 6-5. Jeff Smith opened the scoring at 3:05 of the first period with his third goal of the season from Dallas Flaman and Nick Greenough. Pensacola tied it up only seconds later with a goal by Brandan Cook. Leon Hayward netted his sixth goal of the season at 8:40 with a shot over the shoulder of goaltender Frederic Cloutier with a pass from Brandon Nolan. Thirty seconds later, Travis Lisabeth scored on a high wrister shot with assists to Hayward and Chris Cava to give the Inferno a 3-1 lead. Pensacola scored at 14:49 to bring the score to 3-2. The Ice Pilots scored the only two goals in the second period to go up 4-3, including a shorthanded opportunity. Chanse Fitzpatrick got on the board with his fourth goal of the season at 2:11 of the third period with assists from Evan Shaw and Lisabeth. Chris Busby, playing his first game with the Inferno, netted the fifth goal with help from Dave Bonk and Mike Stathopoulos at 3:14. Pensacola tied the game at 6:34 on the power play with a goal by Adam Courchaine. After a scoreless overtime period, Brandon Nolan scored the game-winning shootout goal as the Inferno takes the win from the Ice Pilots. Columbia outshot the Ice Pilots 37-30 and was 5-for-7 on the penalty kill.
Friday, December 2nd INFERNO 4 Augusta 1
The Columbia Inferno defeated the Augusta Lynx 4-1 on their fourth annual teddy bear toss. Derek Eastman opened the scoring and sent bears flying on the ice only 1:06 into the first period as he picked up a deflected puck and over the shoulder of goaltender Jason Wolfe. Brandon Nolan and Travis Lisabeth had the assists. F.P. Guenette extended the lead to 2-0 at 4:46 of the second period scoring the game-winning goal for the Inferno. Nolan added his third goal of the season at 13:04 to give the Inferno a 3-0 lead. Augusta scored their only goal at 5:57 of the third period by Brian Passmore. Eric Nelson finished it off for Columbia at 12:24 on the power play from Guenette and Chris Busby. Chris Houle earned his sixth win of the season as he stopped 29 of 30 shots on goal.
Saturday, December 3rd Inferno 3 AUGUSTA 5
The Columbia Inferno scored three goals but that was not enough as the Augusta Lynx won 5-3. Augusta scored shorthanded at 9:23 to open the scoring. Leon Hayward scored his seventh goal of the season at 16:55 with help from Brandon Nolan and Travis Lisabeth to tie the game at one. The Lynx then scored the next three goals in the second period to take a 4-1 lead. Nolan scored at 17:36 with assist to Eric Nelson to bring the Inferno back by two goals. At 3:26 of the third period, Augusta scored their fifth and final goal of the game. Lisabeth scored at 12:18 with passes from Nolan and Derek Eastman.
