
Grover Recalled to Hershey

N. Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays and head coach Jason Fitzsimmons announced today that defenseman Donny Grover has been recalled to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.
Grover, 24, is in his second season of professional hockey after splitting time last year between the Danbury Trashers of the UHL and the Lowell Lock Monsters of the AHL. The 6'1", 210-pound native of Rockland, Mass. is one of only two players that have played in all 42 games with the Stingrays this season. He has 23 points on the year on eight goals and 15 assists and ranks seventh on the team in points.
In a separate transaction, the Stingrays have signed defenseman Jeff Moor. The Newmarket, Ontario native joined the Stingrays for training camp this season before beginning the year with the Columbus Cottonmouths of the SPHL. The 6'4", 205-pound defenseman has nine points on two goals and seven assists and has 135 penalty minutes in 25 games.
The Stingrays continue on their season-high six-game road trip with a contest at 7:35 p.m. on Friday in Duluth, Georgia versus the Gwinnett Gladiators.
