Diamond giveaway highlights February promos

Johnstown, PA (January 31, 2007) - The Johnstown Chiefs on Wednesday announced a schedule of promotions for their home games in the month of February.

Leading off the month is "Common Name Night" on February 3, when the Chiefs host the Reading Royals at 7:00 p.m., all fans who present photo identification at the box office that shows that they are named either Jim, Bob, Mike, John, Jen, Liz, Susan, or Sarah will get in for just $8! Variations on all the names are also eligible for the discounted ticket price.

On February 10, the Chiefs face off against their arch-rival, the Wheeling Nailers, and every fan in attendance will have a chance at winning $500 in cold, hard cash courtesy of Somerset Trust! Each fan in attendance will receive a specially-numbered voucher that they can take to any Somerset Trust branch to see if they won.

Join the Chiefs for the first annual Valentine's Day Diamond Giveaway on February 11 when the Chiefs take on the Toledo Storm! The first 2,000 fans through the turnstile will each receive a ¼ carat diamond, courtesy of Precious Metals And Diamonds Company! After the game, fans can take their diamond to Precious Metals And Diamonds Company to verify whether they received a diamond or one of 1,999 cubic zirconiums. Fans who receive a cubic zirconium will be able to have it mounted in a sterling silver pendant for $20 or a 14 carat gold pendant for $47. February 11 is also Richland School District Night. All Richland school district students who present their student id at the box office can purchase tickets for just $5!

All fans are invited to join the Chiefs on February 17 when the tribe takes on Cincinnati for Team Photo Night! After the game, all fans in attendance are invited to stay to have their photo taken with the entire Chiefs team! The photos will be printed and distributed to at the March 25 games against Dayton.

On February 18, Trenton comes to visit Johnstown for "Faith Day," and McVeytown, Penn.-native and Christian music artist Brianna Sheeder will perform after the game. The Chiefs invite all area religious groups of any denomination and faith-based organizations to attend the game at a discounted rate! All groups interested in joining the Chiefs for the game should contact a Chiefs group sales representative at (814) 539-1799 or 1 (800) SLAPSHOT. February 18 is also Ferndale School District Night. All Ferndale school district students who present their student identification at the box office can purchase tickets for just $5!

When the Chiefs take on the Dayton Bombers on February 28, it will be "Ladies Night" at the War Memorial! All ladies will be able to get in to the game for just $10! Chiefs players will participate in a bachelor auction that will benefit Chiefs' charities, and there will be booths set up by various local businesses that cater to women.
