Bembridge named Runner-Up for Player of the Week honors

Augusta, GA - After scoring three goals and nine points in four games for the Augusta Lynx, Garrett Bembridge has been named Runner-Up for the In Glas Co. ECHL Player of the Week award.
The 25-year-old right wing scored in three consecutive games against Trenton, Johnstown, and Wheeling last week, potting a goal and three assists in back-to-back games against Trenton and Johnstown. His performance helped Augusta win all three games and continue on to a then-four game road win streak.
His back-to-back four point games make Bembridge the only Lynx player to accomplish that feat this season.
Victoria Salmon Kings forward Marc-Andre Bernier was named In Glas Co. ECHL Player of the Week with five goals and seven points in four straight road contests.
The Lynx are back in action Thursday against the Florida Everblades, Friday versus the Alaska Aces, and Saturday for a rematch with the Everblades.
