SERIES HISTORY:

Tonight marks the fifth meeting of the season between Bakersfield and Las Vegas. It will be the 30th meeting between the two teams, with the Condors sporting an 8-18-3 mark against the Wranglers. After tonight, Bakersfield and Las Vegas will meet just twice more, once in The Nest and once at the Orleans Arena.

The first time the teams met this season, on November 11th, Bakersfield led 3-1 early in the third period, but the Wranglers scored the final three goals and escaped The Nest with a 4-3 victory. In the second match-up, just a couple of weeks later, Las Vegas jumped out to a 5-2 lead at the Orleans Arena, then held off a frantic Condors rally in the third to win, 6-4.

But the Condors have turned the tables in the last two contests, winning 5-1 and 3-2, both times in Las Vegas. On December 18th, Bakersfield led 3-0 after one, and coasted to a convincing victory. On January 5th, the Condors again scored three in the first, and this time it was just enough to hold up. The back-to-back wins in Las Vegas match the total number of wins the Condors had at the Orleans Arena all-time entering this season.
