Utah Grizzlies News Release

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Christie announced today that forward Jeff Miles has been called up to the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals.

In 28 games with the Grizzlies this year, the University of Vermont product scored 12 goals and tallied 18 assists for 30 points. On December 3 in Victoria, he recorded his first professional hat trick, scoring three goals in the third period as Utah rallied, 5-3, past the Salmon Kings. Miles also tallied eight of his 12 total Utah goals in the third period. At the time of his departure, he is tied for the team lead with seven multi-point games, and also has thirteen power-play points (five goals, eight assists.)

The AHL is familiar ground for Miles who spent 28 games (five goals, one assist) with Manchester last year during his rookie season.

Utah continues their busy week tonight hosting Idaho at the E-Center at 7:05 p.m. Following a Friday night in Las Vegas, Utah returns home Saturday and Sunday ringing in the New Year with 6:05 p.m. starts against the Wranglers.
