Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release
12/19/05 > Long Beach 4 @ Las Vegas 5 (SO)
The Ice Dogs ran into a hot Las Vegas team in a rare midnight game that saw the Ice Dogs fall in a shootout by a score of 5-4. The Ice Dogs were going for their fourth win in a row but came up a little short, getting goals from Steeve Villeneuve, Cory Urquhart, Mac Faulkner, and Justin Aikins. Greg Hewitt made 45 saves coming off his first shutout of the season.
12/21/05 > Long Beach 1 vs. Las Vegas 2
Justin Aikins extended his team leading point scoring streak to 8 games with an assist on the Ice Dogs' only goal last Wednesday night. Las Vegas continued to roll, winning their ninth in a row while handing the Ice Dogs a 2-1 defeat. Chris Kenady scored for the Ice Dogs and Greg Hewitt made 22 saves in the loss.

The Ice Dogs and Wranglers will play for the third consecutive time Wednesday night. Las Vegas has won the last two meetings and is currently in the midst of a 9 game winning streak. Justin Aikins will be looking to get a point in his ninth straight game for the Ice Dogs.
12/30/05 > Long Beach vs. Phoenix
The Ice Dogs will welcome the Phoenix Roadrunners back to Long Beach on Friday night. In four meetings so far this season between the two teams, the Ice Dogs have held the edge with a record of 4-1-0.
12/31/05 > Long Beach vs. Reading
The Reading Royals will make their first ever trip to Long Beach for a New Year's Eve game Saturday at 4pm. The two teams played in Reading earlier this month, splitting the two games.
