Grizzlies Continue Playoff Push Thursday In Victoria

Andy Sertich

Rookie All-Star defenseman Andy Sertich has two goals and four assists in his last six games for Utah to lead the team.

Sertich on Special Teams

Sertich has scored 26 of his 38 points this season on the power-play.

Hometown Boy Update

Utah native D.J. Jelitto is the second hottest Grizzlies player with two goals and three assists in his last five games. That is his hottest stretch of the season.

McVicar Returns To Victoria

This week will be goaltender Rob McVicar's first return to Victoria since playing for the Salmon Kings last season. During the 2005-2006 campaign, McVicar also played for the NHL's Vancouver Canucks and the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

Last Year In Victoria

The Grizzlies went 3-1-1 at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

12 Games Left

Utah enters the week and the final 12 games of the 2006-2007 regular season six points in back of Phoenix and seven points in back of Victoria for a playoff spot in the National Conference. Including this week, Utah has six total games left versus the Salmon Kings.

Injury Update

Utah leading scorer Ryan Kinasewich is still on IR and has missed 11-straight games. Utah's third leading scorer Matt Craig has missed five-straight games and enforcer Brandon Tidball has only played nine games this season.
