STORM WATCH

All about Wheeling! For the second time this season, the Toledo Storm will take on the Wheeling Nailers for three consecutive games. The last time was December 8, 9, and 10, When the Storm and the Nailers met for a three in three over a weekend. Similar to that is this week when Toledo will appear in Wheeling Wednesday, play the Nailers at home on Friday, before traveling to West Virginia on Saturday. Toledo is 3-3-0 against the Nailers this season. Of Toledo's remaining 14 regular season games, 5 will be spent playing against the Nailers. Toledo vs. Wheeling Friday night at the Toledo Sports Arena!

STORM NOTES

1. Owning the Road? Toledo finished last week with back-to-back road wins. It is only the third time Toledo has collected consecutive road wins, the most being 3 in a row (1/26 - 2/3). The Storm has won 4 of its last 7 road contests.

2. Mustukovs Miracle! Heading into Saturday's game against Trenton, Toledo had dropped 3 consecutive games, tied for the longest streak this season. Ervins made a season high 51 saves as Toledo held off the Titans 3-2.

Nick had perhaps his best week of the season as he collected goals in consecutive games.

STORM GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK:

Ervins Mustukovs (1-0-0, 2.00 gaa, 0.962 save%)

Ervins (Photo Left) made a near flawless effort stick in Trenton on Saturday as Toledo ended a three game losing streak.
