Victoria Salmon Kings News Release


To follow a successful road trip, in which the Salmon Kings were unbeaten in regulation in five games, players will hit the radio waves for interviews tomorrow and Wednesday. Scheduled for interview at 107.3 KOOL FM tomorrow morning is Julien Ellis, Wes Goldie, Marc-Andre Bernier, Paul Ballantyne, and head coach Mark Morrison.

Participating in the "So You Think You Know Your Sports" show with Rebecca Scott on CFAX 1070 at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow will be Steve Lingren and Gustav Engman.

Jordan Krestanovich, Derek Krestanovich, and Phil Cole will settle into the CBC Radio One (90.5 FM) Victoria studio on Wednesday morning.

The Q (100.3 FM) will host two segments on Wednesday afternoon with Ryan Awram. Kiel McLeod, Darryl Lloyd, and Matt Kelly will be live from 2 to 3 p.m., and Milan Gajic, Seamus Young, Francois-Pierre Guenette, and Robin Gomez will be live from 3 to 4 p.m.

At the same time, from 3 to 4 p.m., the Zone (91.3 FM) welcomes Ryan Wade, Mike Stutzel, Warren McCutcheon, and Bryan Bridges, with afternoon host Jeremy Baker.

The Victoria Salmon Kings Booster Club is holding a fundraising car wash on Saturday March 17th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Jubilee Esso, located at 1669 Fort Street. They will also host the final "Skate with the Salmon Kings" session after the 1 p.m. game on Sunday, March 18th.
