ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades finished off this past week by going 2-1-0. The Everblades head into this week's action with a record of 37-18-4 (78 pts, 2nd South Div.).

THIS WEEK (All Times Eastern)

Tuesday & Wednesday, March 13 & 14 vs. South Carolina Stingrays 7:30 p.m. (Both Games)

GAME NOTES: The Everblades wrap up their four-game home stand with a pair of games against the South Carolina Stingrays. The games are the eighth and ninth of 10 between the teams and the fifth and sixth at Germain Arena. The Everblades won the most recent meeting 4-1 on February 18 at South Carolina. The Everblades are 5-2-0 this season vs. South Carolina. The Stingrays enter this week's action with a record of 30-23-7 (67 pts., 5th South Div.) and have won three straight. The Everblades hold an all-time record of 37-20-8 vs. South Carolina and are 17-12-5 all-time at home vs. the Stingrays.

GAME NOTES: The Everblades and Stingrays wrap up their season series on Friday at the North Charleston Coliseum. The Everblades are 3-0-0 this season in Charleston. All-time, the Everblades are 20-8-3 on the road vs. South Carolina.

Saturday, March 17 at Charlotte Checkers 7:00 p.m.

GAME NOTES: The Everblades make their final visit to Charlotte to take on the Checkers in the ninth and final meeting between the teams this season. The Everblades lost the most recent meeting in overtime on March 4 at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Overall this season the Everblades are 5-2-1 vs. Charlotte and they are 1-1-1 at Charlotte. The Checkers enter this week's action with a record of 31-23-3 (65 pts., 6th, South Div.). The Everblades hold an all-time record of 23-10-3 vs. Charlotte and are 9-8-3 all-time on the road vs. the Checkers.

Sunday, March 18 at Gwinnett Gladiators 4:05 p.m.

GAME NOTES: The Everblades wrap up their brief three-game road trip on Sunday at Gwinnett for the 10th and final meeting of the season between the South Division rivals. The Everblades won the most recent meeting 7-2 on March 6 at Gwinnett. The Everblades are 4-4-1 this season vs. Gwinnett and are 2-2-0 at the Arena at Gwinnett Center. The Gladiators enter this week's action with a record of 35-18-7 (77 pts., 3rd, South Div.). The Everblades hold an all-time record of 13-14-5 vs. Gwinnett and are 6-9-0 all-time on the road vs. the Gladiators.

Tuesday, March 6 at Gwinnett Gladiators 7-2 W

The Everblades ended their four-game road trip with a 7-2 thumping of the Gladiators at the Arena in Gwinnett Center. The Everblades picked up two goals each from Brad Zancanaro and Vince Bellissimo en-route to the victory. Dustin Johner, Ernie Hartlieb and Reggie Berg scored the other goals for the Everblades who built a lead of 6-1 by the mid point of the third period. In net Craig Kowalski back stopped the Everblades to the win by turning away 28 of 30 shots. Florida special teams: PP: 1-for-7, PK: 4-for-5.

Friday, March 9 vs. Pensacola Ice Pilots 7-2 W

The Everblades earned their second straight 7-2 victory by rolling past the Ice Pilots in the first of a four-game home stand. The big offensive contributors were Derek Damon and Dustin Johner who each had two goals and an assist. Brad Parsons, Brad Zancanaro and Vince Bellissimo scored the other Everblade goals. Jon Lehun chipped in with three assists, and defensman Ryan Brindley finished the game a career-high plus-6. In goal, Craig Kowalski collected the win by stopping 36 of 38 shots. Florida special teams: PP: 0-for-3, PK: 0-for-2.

Saturday, March 10 vs. Pensacola Ice Pilots 5-2 L

The Everblades watched the Ice Pilots rebound from the previous night by handing the 'Blades a 5-2 loss at Germain Arena. Brad Zancanaro scored the game's first goal six minutes into the contest, but the Ice Pilots scored the next three to open a 3-1 lead midway through the first period. Adam Taylor picked up Florida's second goal late in the first period to trim the lead to one, but that was as close as the 'Blades would get. The Ice Pilots added a goal in the second and a goal in the third period to seal the win, and goaltender Michael Mole stopped 30 Everblade shots in the second and third periods to preserve the victory. In net for the Everblades Craig Kowalski suffered the loss allowing the five goals on 35 shots. Florida special teams: PP: 1-for-8, PK: 5-for-6.

Roster Moves: The Everblades saw a number of changes to their roster prior to last weekend's games. On Thursday the Everblades signed goaltender Jamie Holden to a contract. Holden spent last season, his rookie year, in Fresno of the ECHL and Cleveland of the AHL...On Friday, the Everblades got two players back from the AHL. Defenseman Chris Dyment was reassigned to the team from Albany and D-man Martin Tuma was reassigned to the club from Rochester.

Who's Hot: Here's a look at who's been hot for the Everblades: F Vince Bellissimo has points in 12 of the last 15 games he's played in (10g, 15a)...F Dustin Johner has picked up points in eight of the last 11 games (7g, 6a)...F Adam Taylor has points in 13 of the last 15 games (12g, 11a)...F Jon Lehun has scored a point in six of the last seven games (2g, 8a)...F Derek Damon has points in nine of the last 12 games (8g, 5a)...F Brad Parsons has picked up a point in seven of the last eight games (5g, 5a)...G Craig Kowalski has made 15 straight starts in net for the 'Blades and is 9-4-2 in that span.

Milestones Reached: Two Everblade players reached milestones in their career on Saturday night in Florida's 5-2 loss to Pensacola. Defenseman Ryan Brindley scored his 300th career point with an assist on Brad Zancanaro's first period goal, and forward Dustin Johner played in his 200th career professional game in the contest.

Upcoming Milestones: Here are some milestones that Everblades players are approaching in their professional careers: F Brad Parsons is three goals away from his 50th ...F Reggie Berg is two goals shy of 150 for his career... F Brent McDonald is only four goals away from reaching the 100 mark...D Ryan Brindley is only 10 games away from playing in his 500th pro game ...D Brett Peterson is only one games away from hitting the 200 mark in his career.

All-Time 'Blades Records: Midway through the season three Everblades all-time marks have been broken and several others are being approached. Brent McDonald became the all-time games played leader on Dec. 8 when he took the ice at Pensacola. His 289th game broke the previous all-time number of 288 held by Tom Buckley. In addition, Reggie Berg became the organization's all-time leader in shots on goal on December 23rd vs. South Carolina when he took his 998th shot on goal, surpassing Buckley. Berg also became the team's all-time leader in power play goals when he tallied his 31st all-time on the man advantage on Jan. 26 vs. Gwinnett, breaking Matt Demarski's previous high-water mark of 30. Berg is also only six points away from becoming the team's all-time leading point getter, as he chases Buckley's mark of 310.
