Utah Grizzlies News Release

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies (16-9-2) will go for their fourth win in a row tonight when they host the Idaho Steelheads at the E-Center. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

West Valley City native D.J. Jelitto (YEHL-ih-toe) has been a key to the team's recent success. During the current winning streak, the 21-year-old first-year pro has two goals, one assist and a +4.

*When D.J. is on the ice, you get the feeling something is about to happen,* said Grizzlies Head Coach Jason Christie. *He has worked very hard and has become an important member of our team.*

In last Saturday's (December 17th) 6-5 overtime win versus Idaho, Jelitto scored his first professional goal, giving Utah a 2-1 first period lead. He later added an assist and got into a fight, completing the *Gordie Howe Hat Trick.* Thursday in Utah's 5-2 win over Victoria, the left wing single-handedly created multiple scoring chances for Utah and scored the second goal of his career.

Utah has five key division games on the schedule this week. After tonight and tomorrow's E-Center bouts with Idaho, they head to Las Vegas for a game Friday night. The Grizzlies are back home Saturday and Sunday ringing in the New Year with 6:05 p.m. starts against the Wranglers.
