The Gwinnett Gladiators used two third period goals to post a 2-1 come-from- behind victory over the Greenville Grrrowl on Tuesday night at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville.

Greenville jumped out to a 1-0 lead just 35 seconds into the first period on a goal by Allan Sirois. Walking out of the corner untouched, Sirois pulled Gladiators netminder Sean Fields out of position and flipped the puck into top corner of the net for the tally. Les Haggett picked up an assist on the goal for the Grrrowl.

In the second, Greenville was able to clamp down defensively as the period ended as it began with the Grrowl on top with a 1-0 lead. Gwinnett was able to outshoot the Grrrowl by an 11-10 margin but was again held off the scoreboard on the power play.

Troy Milam tied the game at 1-1 with a power play goal 13:59 into the third period. Milam was able to beat Greenville netminder Mike Morrision with a slapshot from the point that found its way through traffic and into the net. Milan Gajic and Jeff Campbell added the assists on the tally.

Milan Gajic posted the game winning goal just a little over three minutes later on a slap shot just in side the Greenville blue line that found its way past Morrision. Derek Nesbitt picked up the assist on the goal for the Gladiators.

Sean Fields finished with 29 saves for the Gladiators while Gwinnett went 1-for-7 on the power play in the win.
