Traylen runner-up for ECHL Goaltender of the Week

TRENTON, NJ (January 10, 2006) - The ECHL announced on Tuesday that Trenton Titans goalie Dustin Traylen has been named a runner-up for ECHL Goaltender of the Week.

Traylen helped the Titans sweep their three-game, three-day weekend by turning in a 3-0-0 performance with a 1.67 goals against average and a .933 save percentage. The native of Kirkland, Quebec began his week by making 17 saves in 9-1 victory over the Dayton Bombers on Friday. The following night at Sovereign Bank Arena Traylen turned away 32 of 34 shots as Trenton took down the Reading Royals 5-2. The rookie goaltender notched his tenth win of the season and led the Titans to a perfect weekend by stopping 21 of 23 in a 3-2 win over the Wheeling Nailers on Sunday.

Traylen is now 10-4-0 this season with a 2.42 GAA that ranks sixth in the ECHL and a .921 save percentage. This marks the second time that Traylen has finished as runner-up for ECHL Goaltender of the Week.
