TONIGHT:

The Ontario Reign (41-14-3-3=88 points) travel to Bakersfield to face the Condors (18-39-2-3=41 points) at Rabobank Arena. They will face the Condors one more time in Bakersfield to conclude the season series.

The Reign have a perfect 8-0-0-0 record against the Condors this season. Their perfect record extends back to November 8, 2011 when they won their first of 17 consecutive wins against Bakersfield. The Reign haven't dropped a game at Rabobank Arena since the 2010-11 season.

On the road the Reign are 18-7-1-2, at home the Condors are 10-17-0-2.

HOW THEY RANK:

The Reign are first in the Pacific Division, second in the Western Conference, and second in the league with 86 points. The Reign only trail the Alaska Aces who have 94 points. Idaho Steelheads are creeping up for the second spot in the Conference with 83 points. Bakersfield Condors are currently ranked last in the league.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN:

The Reign kick off a three-in-three road series with two games in Bakersfield followed by a lone contest in Stockton. In 28 road games played so far the Reign are 18-7-1-2 with 95 goals-for and just 78 goals-against. When on the road before a crowd of more than 5,000 the Reign are 9-2-1-0. The largest away crowd the Reign have played before was in Bakersfield on Saturday, Nov. 24 when the Reign won 7-4 and broke multiple team and league records including points, goals, assists, and +/- in a single game.

SERIES STARS:

The Reign are missing three of their top five skaters against the Condors with Stretch, Yellow Horn, and DaSilva all currently with AHL teams. Kraemer is the top active Reign player with 12 points (6g, 6a) against the Condors. Couture is next with 7 points (4g, 3a). Bakersfield's top scorer against the Reign with six points was Peter Boyd (5g, 1a), but he was traded yesterday to South Carolina. Next in line against the Reign is Jacob Legace and Francis Verreault with five points (3g, 2a) for Legace, all assists for Verreault.
