The Solar Bears play their third consecutive contest against the Reading Royals tonight, with the first two coming at the Amway Center in Orlando. G Zoltan Hetenyi recorded the first shutout of the season for Orlando on Thursday, as he stopped 29 shots to help the Solar Bears skate away with a 1-0 win. Saturday's contest saw the two sides go tied 3-3 into the third, but the Royals took advantage of numerous Orlando penalties to defeat the Solar Bears 8-3. Both sides have been inactive since Saturday's game. Orlando has faced the Royals in Reading one time previously, falling by a 5-3 score on December 15. F Stanislav Galiev notched a hat trick for Reading in that contest. The Solar Bears are 1-2-0-0 against Reading this season, and tonight's meeting marks the final time this season that the Solar Bears will face the Royals.

Solar Bears Notes:

C Dale Mahovsky was activated from the 21-day IR earlier this week and is expected to play tonight against Reading. Mahovsky last appeared against the Trenton Titans on February 2, picking up one assist in a 6-4 win over the Trenton Titans... F C.J. Severyn is on a three game point streak (2 goals, 1 assist). He leads the Solar Bears with four goals in three games against Reading... The Solar Bears are playing their first road game since February 9 and have not played a game outside of the the state of Florida since January 27 against the South Carolina Stingrays... Orlando is 15-1-1 when leading after two periods... G Zoltan Hetenyi has started four of the last five games for Orlando... C Mathew Sisca was placed o the 21-day IR earlier this week... D Jesse Dudas was placed on the 21-day IR last week... G Mike Brodeur, D Josh Caron, F Dan Dries, and D Sean Lorenz remain on the 21-day IR.

Royals Notes:

F Yannick Tifu is ninth in the league in points with 60... F Stanislav Galiev is currently first among rookies with 11 power play goals and is second among rookies with six game winning goals... F David Vallorani is tied for first among ECHL rookies with 34 assists and is fourth among rookies with 47 points... The Royals are currently without the services of the ECHL's two leading goal scorers among defensemen. D Adam Comrie (17 goals) and D Denny Urban (13 goals) are both currently with the Worcester Sharks of the AHL... Reading is 14th on the power play at 16.9 percent (46-for-272) and 12th on the penalty kill at 82.7 percent (205-for-248)... F Yannick Tifu leads the Royals in goals (22), assists (38) and points (60).
