Tonight, marks the eighth of nine matchups between the two, with the Bulls behind in the season series 2-5-0-0. Tonight and tomorrow are the final times the teams will face off in the regular season.

Wednesday night saw the debut of six new faces for the Bulls. Acquired during the road trip, Tristan King, Bryan Cameron, and Yanni Gourde played their first game on home ice. Even more recent acquisitions Kory Falite, Ian Schultz, and Mark Isherwood all played their first game in a San Francisco uniform as well. The Bulls were defeated 2-1 in the series opener. Thomas Heemskerk stopped 43 of 45 shots he faced, holding Alaska to 0-for-2 on the power play. Yanni Gourde scored the lone tally for the Bulls, tying the game at one in the second period. Gourde's second goal for San Francisco was assisted by Cameron and T. King. The newcomers are making their presence felt for San Francisco, with all points Wednesday night coming from new faces.

San Francisco announced Thursday afternoon the completion of the transaction that sent Justin Bowers and the rights to Sacha Guimond to the Gwinnett Gladiators back in January. He also recorded 19 points (6 goals, 13 assists) in 32 games with the Mississippi RiverKings of the Southern Professional Hockey League this season.

Alaska now has 94 points on the season. San Francisco, who is currently in eighth with 49 points, sit eight points up on the last place Bakersfield Condors, who have 41 points. The Bulls maintain their hold on the last playoff spot, and remain five points behind the Utah Grizzlies.
