Game #130/Home Game #68

Nelson Wolff Stadium

RHP Aaron Wilkerson (7-2, 3.59) vs. RHP Daniel Corcino (8-6, 4.56)
Home Dominance: The Missions are 46-21 at Wolff Stadium this season, which is one of the best home records they have had in recent years. The 46 wins at home are the fourth most by a San Antonio ball club since 1988. The Missions had 47 home wins in 1990, 48 in 1997, and the 2011 Texas League champion team won 55 games at home, which is a franchise record.
Keep it in the Park: In a year when many Pacific Coast League teams are setting single-season franchise home run records, the Missions pitching staff has been the best at keeping the ball from leaving the yard. San Antonio has yielded just 147 home runs, which are the fewest on the circuit and third fewest in all of Triple-A. The Missions have allowed one home run or fewer in nine straight games, which is their third longest such streak this season. They went 10 straight games without allowing multiple home runs from May 25-June 2 and 14 from April 17-May 2.
Blank Bites: Yesterday the Missions were shutout for just the second time this season, which is tied with Triple-A Pawtucket and Double-A Montgomery for the second fewest among all full-season teams in MiLB. Reno is the only full-season Minor League team to have not been blanked this season. In 2019 the Missions have shutout their opponents 13 times, which are the most in all of Triple-A baseball.
