West Virginia Black Bears News Release
The West Virginia Black Bears are excited to announce that OF Logan Hill, 3B Daniel Arribas, OF Ty Moore and SP Dario Agrazal have been named to the 2015 New York-Penn League All-Star Team.
Hill, a 25th round selection in 2015, has had an outstanding season so far, carrying a team-best .329 batting average and 37 RBI, which leads the New-York Penn League. The outfielder has appeared in 41 games this season and has 18 extra-base hits, including 5 home runs.
The Black Bears have had a lot of productivity in OF Ty Moore this season. The left-handed hitter has a .288 batting average this season in 41 games played and has driven in 25 runs. Moore has collected 10 extra-base hits this season, including eight doubles.
Arribas has been sensational this year for West Virginia in 34 games played, where he has seen action at both third base and catcher. Arribas is carrying a solid .291 batting average with 24 runs scored and 15 RBI.
On the mound this season, Agrazal has been a force to be reckoned with. The right-hander leads the team in wins (5-3), ERA (2.67), innings pitched (54.0) and ranks second on the team with 33 strikeouts. The Panama native had his best performance of the season on Friday, August 7, pitching 7.0 innings of one-run ball, allowing only two hits.
The four players will be on the Northern Team at the All-Star Game on August 18th at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Maryland, home of the Aberdeen IronBirds.
