October 10, 2024 - The milestone 10th season of Black Bears baseball in West Virginia will begin on Tuesday, June 4, as the team today announced their 2025 playing schedule. A slate of 40 home games, including seven weekend dates, begins on Tuesday, June 10, as West Virginia hosts this year's MLB Draft League champions, the Williamsport Crosscutters. September 3, 2024 - GRANVILLE, W.Va. - The West Virginia Black Bears defeated the Mahoning Valley Scrappers 2-1 at Kendrick Family Ballpark on Tuesday evening. Strong defensive performances from both teams kept the game knotted at one through the ninth inning, leaving Trace Willhoite to walk it off with his second home run of the series. September 2, 2024 - GRANVILLE, W.Va. - The West Virginia Black Bears clawed out a 7-5 win over the Mahoning Valley Scrappers at Kendrick Family Ballpark on Monday evening.
