Falcons Pick-up Cunningham off Waivers

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons have claimed left wing Bobby Cunningham off waivers after he was released by the Mississippi Sea Wolves yesterday. The ninth-year pro has averaged more than a point per game throughout his professional career, including a combined 40 points (21g-19a) in 37 games last year with the Texas Wildcatters and Greenville Grrrowl. He posted two assists in his seven games with the Sea Wolves this season.
Fresno also suspended player/assistant coach Shawn Heaphy, who left the team to join another club in Germany.
