STORM NOTES

- Logan Koopmans won his first professional game Saturday night in Peoria. Koopmans made 32 saves and did not allow a goal, to achieve his first pro win, which was a shutout. Logan also collected the win Sunday afternoon against Johnstown.

- Rick Judson added two more goals over the weekend. Those goals bring Judson's total to 185 in his Storm career. Rick is just 5 goals shy of tying Andrew Williamson for the most goals in Toledo Storm Hockey history. Judson has scored a goal in three straight home games.

- Nick Parillo (3-9) continues to lead Toledo in assists and points. Nick scored his second shorthanded goal of the year Saturday night in Peoria, and he is among the ECHL leaders in that category. Rick Judson, Maris Ziedins, and Tyler Knight are the team leaders for goals at 4.

- Toledo has out shot the opponent in 9 of its first 13 games. In those contests the Storm have a record of 6-2-1.

- Toledo's power play unit ranks 22nd in the ECHL with 8 power play goals in 62 chances (12.9%).

- The penalty kill unit of Toledo has allowed 10 goals in 59 chances against this season (83.1%). That is 18th in the ECHL.

STORM WATCH

- On Tuesday night, it is another edition of the Toledo Storm Coach's Show. Sam Paolini will join Head Coach Nick Vitucci and the voice of the Storm Matt Melzak live at the Bronze Boar from 6-7pm. The Boar is located at 20 South Huron Street.

- Toledo will be back in action this Thursday night in Dayton. Toledo is 3-2-3 on the road, and Dayton is 3-2-0 at home this year. Toledo won the first meeting 6-3 on October 23rd. Maris Ziedins had two goals in that hockey game to pace the Storm attack.

- Friday night it's off to Johnstown for a meeting with the Chiefs. Toledo defeated Johnstown 4-1 Sunday afternoon. The Chiefs have a record of 5-0-3 on home ice.

- Saturday night the Storm will return to the Sports Arena to host the Wheeling Nailers. Toledo is 1-0-1 against the Nailers this season in two defensive struggles. The Storm won 1-0 on opening night, and Wheeling won 2-1 in a shootout October 30th. Wheeling is 5-2-0 at home this year.

STORM PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINATION:

Sam Paolini (1 goal - 1 assist = 2 points, plus 2) Sam continued his hot play this week collecting a goal and an assist. His goal on Sunday tied the game at one and sent Toledo on its way for a 4-1 victory.

STORM GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK NOMINATION:

Logan Koopmans (2-0-0, 1GA & 40SV) Logan collected his first win by way of a shutout Saturday night in Peoria. Koopmans also preserved Sunday's win with a couple of beautiful saves late in the game.
