The Johnstown Chiefs (5-3-5; 15 PTS; 3rd North div.) only managed to get two out of a possible eight points on the week as they lost for the first time in regulation this season Wednesday night at Wheeling. The Chiefs followed the loss with a win at home Friday night over Dayton, and then fell Saturday night at Dayton and Sunday at Toledo. This week, the Chiefs will play three games all at home. Wednesday night, they host Trenton, Friday Toledo and Saturday night the Long Beach Ice Dogs. The Chiefs are currently in sole possession of third place in the North division, trailing second place Toledo by two points and first place Atlantic City by five points.

GAME #10 (11/17/04) WHEELING 3 - Johnstown 1 Tremblay 1st Pro Goal

For the first time in the 2004-05 season, the Johnstown Chiefs lost a game in regulation with Wednesday night's 3-1 loss to the Wheeling Nailers at the Iceoplex in Canonsburg. Jonathan Tremblay scored the lone Johnstown goal in the game, his first professional tally. Cam Paddock led the Nailers with a pair of goals. Chiefs goaltender David Currie made 29 saves in the contest. Former Chiefs goaltender Dany Sabourin made 36 saves for Wheeling.

GAME #11 (11/19/04) JOHNSTOWN 5 - Dayton 1 Kelly Two Assists

The Johnstown Chiefs scored three first period goals and did not look back as they defeated the visiting Dayton Bombers 5-1 Friday night at the War Memorial Arena in front of a crowd of 3,140. Five different Johnstown players scored as Brent Bilodeau, Shawn Mather, Steve Hildenbrand, Jonathan Tremblay and Matt Reid all scored. Dayton's lone goal came from Tyler Kolarik. Chiefs goaltender David Cann posted his second win of the season making 25 saves. Dayton goaltender Andrew Penner also made 25 saves.

GAME #12 (11/20/04) DAYTON 5 - Johnstown 4 Hildenbrand Two Assists

The Chiefs surrendered four second period goals and en route to a 5-4 loss Saturday night at Dayton. Mike James, Shawn Mather, Joe Tallari and Jean Desrochers all scored for the Chiefs. Goaltender David Cann made 27 saves. Five different Dayton players scored (Grady Moore, Janne Jokila, Brian Ridolfi, Tyler Kolarik and Michael Tessier). Goaltender Michael Ayers made 31 saves.

GAME #13 (11/21/04) TOLEDO 4 - Johnstown 1 Van Hoof 1st Goal of Season

The Johnstown Chiefs dropped their second straight game as they fell to the Toledo Storm 4-1 at the Toledo Sports Arena. Jeremy Van Hoof scored the lone Johnstown goal. Chiefs goaltender David Currie made 25 saves. Toledo scored two empty net goals in the third period.

Wednesday night the Chiefs and the Trenton Titans (6-1-1, 13 PTS; 5th North div.) meet for the third time this season. The Chiefs are 0-0-2 against the Titans this season. Last season, the Chiefs were 4-0-0 against the Titans at the War Memorial. The Chiefs are 16-19-4 all-time against Trenton. Trenton is 6-1-1 in their last ten games. The Titans have played just eight games this season.

NOTE: Wednesday night's game will have a special start time of 8:00 p.m. The gates to the War Memorial Arena will open at 7:00 p.m.

Friday night the Chiefs will face the Toledo Storm (7-3-3, 17 PTS; 2nd North div.) for the second of nine games this season. The Chiefs are 0-1-0 against the Storm this season and 32-34-10 all-time. Toledo is currently in second place in the North division trailing first place Atlantic City by three points. Toledo had won two straight games and are 4-3-3 in their last ten games.

Saturday night the Chiefs will host the Long Beach Ice Dogs (8-4-0, 16 PTS; 4th West div.) for the first and only time this regular season. The two teams faced one another last season, with Johnstown picking up the 4-1 win. Long Beach is currently fourth place in the Western division. This is the fourth game of the Ice Dogs five game East Coast road trip. They will play a pair of games in Trenton and Atlantic City.

- Mike James leads all ECHL rookies with 49 PIM.

- The Chiefs have won four straight games at home and lost three straight games on the road.

- The Chiefs are just 1 for 12 on the power play (8%) in five road games.

- Steve Hildenbrand has two goals and seven points in his last five games.
