Tonight, the SeaWolves continue a six-game road trip as they take on the New Britain Rock Cats (Minnesota Twins) in the middle game of a three-game series at New Britain Stadium. Last night, the Rock Cats jumped ahead 2-0 in the bottom of the first inning and held off a late Erie charge, taking down the SeaWolves 6-3 in the series opener. The loss for the SeaWolves was their second straight and it puts the club back to 20-games under .500. The Rock Cats enter play tonight with the league's worst record at 32-78...Righty Thad Weber takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 22nd start of the season and first against the Cats. Weber, the league leader in innings pitched, has not gone fewer than five innings pitched in a start this season. He took a loss in his last start against Altoona allowing six runs on eight hits with four walks and four strikeouts in a 6-3 loss. Weber has alternated wins and losses in his last four starts...Righty Bobby Lanigan takes the mound for the Rock Cats. Lanigan is making his fourth start. He took a no-decision in his last outing against Bowie allowing four runs on eight hits with no walks and a strikeout in five innings of work.
- New Britain leads the season series over Erie 1-0. The SeaWolves and Rock Cats meet six times in 2010.
- Defensively, the "Wolves have committed 114 errors on the season which tied for most in the league.
