Baysox Celebrate Orioles Pride Night

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox honor their Major League affiliate with Orioles Pride Night Thursday, August 12, as the team takes on the Portland Sea Dogs at 7:05 p.m. The event features Orioles trivia, prizes and giveaways and the team will show classic Orioles highlights on the video board throughout the game. Fans are encouraged to wear Orioles gear for the event.

Baysox General Manager Brian Shallcross looks forward to Orioles Pride Night. "The Baysox are proud to be the class Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles," Shallcross said. "We have been an Orioles affiliate since our first game in 1993."

The event features a raffle where fans can win Orioles tickets and autographed memorabilia. Autographed items include balls signed by former Baysox Brian Roberts, Matt Wieters, Brad Bergesen and Josh Bell and a hat signed by former Oriole Mike Deveraux.
