Baysox Prepare for Enchanting Evening

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today an enchanting evening near the end of a storybook season with Fairy Tale Night Saturday, Aug. 21, as the Baysox take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 6:35 p.m. The event features fans favorite Fairy Tale characters, special on-field promotions, postgame fireworks and special perks for members of Louie's Kids Club.

Snow White, Cinderella, Prince Charming and other characters will meet fans and pose for photos throughout the game. Fans can participate in special between-inning promotions, including a Kiss Cam with Samuel E. Wright's "Kiss the Girl" playing over the stadium speakers, a Fairy Tale character race and a "Match the Damsel with Distress" contest. After the game, the Baysox light up the skies around Prince George's Stadium with a fireworks extravaganza fit for a princess.

Members of Louie's Kids Club and their parents can purchase discounted tickets for the event. Members can purchase youth upper reserved seat tickets for $7 (regularly $9) and adult tickets for $9 (regularly $11) and every club member who purchases a ticket before Friday, Aug. 13, receives a free pack of baseball-themed Silly Bandz. Club members can enter the ballpark at 4:30 p.m. to enjoy free rides and games in Louie's Kids Park and a special meet-and-greet session with the characters and at least two Baysox players for an hour. Louie's Kids Club is FREE and easy to join! Any fan ages 12 and under can sign up at www.baysoxshop.com/kids/club/ or at any Baysox home game. The team hosts an exclusive kids club event each month of the season, and members receive a free gift at a future Baysox game, limit one per child per season. This year's gift is a 20-inch orange and black duffle bag featuring Louie and the Baysox script logo.
