August 4, 2010 - Eastern League (EL1)
Richmond Flying Squirrels News Release
The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, have announced that fans will have one more chance to bring their dogs to the ballpark during the 2010 season. With such great success from the first Bark in the Park, the Squirrels will be holding another Bark in the Park Night on Tuesday, August 24th.
Due to the overwhelming demand, fans will now be able to enjoy the game that Tuesday night between the Flying Squirrels and the Reading Phillies with their furry friends at no additional cost.
The Squirrels welcomed over 1,000 dogs to The Diamond at the first annual Bark in the Park night back in May, and are expecting a much bigger turnout this time.
"The first Bark in the Park night was so unbelievably successful we had to do it again," said Flying Squirrels' Vice President & COO Todd "Parney" Parnell. "It's a one-of-a-kind experience being able to see all the fans enjoying a night out with their pets."
Fans that bring their dogs will be seated in the first two sections, 101 and 102, in the Diamond Club level or the first three sections, 201-203 of General Admission. Tickets that have already been purchased may be exchanged for seats in the designated areas if fans are planning to bring their dogs.
August 24th will also be a Team Card Sheet Giveaway. The first 3,000 fans of all ages through the gates will receive the giveaway. It will also be Fredericksburg Town Night, a night for the Fredericksburg community to join the Squirrels at the ballpark.
It will also be KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets at The Diamond: Buy 1 Ticket, Get 1 Free from KRAFT Singles with purchase. Bring your package wrapper to a Flying Squirrels Game on Tuesdays for a steal of a deal! Visit kraftsingles.com for more info! Exclusions apply.
