
Doell and Aquino Recalled to Chicago

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that rookie forwards Kevin Doell and Anthony Aquino have been recalled by the Chicago Wolves.
Doell makes his second trip to Chicago after appearing in six games with the Wolves from January 7th to January 24th where he recorded a game winning goal and an assist for two points.
Named the CCM ECHL Rookie of the Month, Sher-Wood ECHL Player of the Month for February and the InGlasCo ECHL player of the week for February 2nd through the 8th, Doell helped the Gladiator to a 10-3-1 record while tallying 10 goals and 11 assists for 21 points in 14 games for Gwinnett.
A rookie out of the University of Denver, Doell leads the Gladiators in scoring with 27 goals and 35 assists for 62 points in 54 games. His 62 points is good for third among rookies and his 35 assists is good for fifth among rookies while he shares first in the ECHL among rookies with 6 power play goals.
Aquino makes his third trip to the Wolves this season where the rookie forward has appeared in one game with Chicago.
Under contract to the Atlanta Thrashers, Aquino has tallied 47 points off of 24 goals and 23 assists in 52 games with the Gladiators.
Doell and Aquino should be available for the Wolves 8:00 p.m. start at San Antonio on Friday.
