Titans Make More Moves At Deadline

TRENTON, NJ (March 18, 2004) - The Trenton Titans announced today that they have acquired defenseman Josh Harrold from THE Cincinnati Cyclones in exchange for defenseman Tyler Kindle.

Harrold– 6'1", 205 lbs – is in his fifth professional season after a four-year career at Miami University (Ohio). The native of Kirtland Hills, OH then spent the majority of the next three seasons with the Mobile Mystics of the ECHL, where he skated alongside current Titans forward BJ Kilbourne. Harrold's best season came in 2000-01 when he notched 12 goals and 28 assists in 72 games for the Mystics. He had recorded 29 points (9g, 20 a) in 63 games with Cyclones this season.

Kindle, a first-year defenseman out of Portage, MI, came to the Titans on January 22 in a trade that sent Peter Fregoe to the Pensacola Ice Pilots. Kindle tallied 5 goals, 13 assists and 12 penalty minutes in 28 games for the Titans.

In a separate move, the Trenton Titans announced that they have released defenseman Antoine Bergeron. The second-year pro was acquired in the off-season from the Mississippi Sea Wolves, but had only appeared in 10 games this season for Trenton due to an ankle injury.
