Florida Everblades News Release
RALEIGH, NC - Jim Rutherford, President / General Manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has recalled center Brett Lysak (LI-zak) from Lowell of the American Hockey League. Lysak will join the Hurricanes in Pittsburgh for Friday's game against the Penguins at Mellon Arena (7:30 p.m., Fox Sports Net; Hurricanes Radio Network).

In 2001-02, Lysak played in 16 games with the Florida Everblades of the ECHL, scoring two goals and earning seven assists (9 points).
