
Huge Weekend On Tap At TECO Arena

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades have several promotions planned for the Blades two game home series this weekend. Florida hosts division rival Greensboro Generals in a two game series on Friday, March 19th and Saturday, March 20th at 7:30 PM.
On Friday night following the game, the Everblades will conduct their annual charity St. Patrick's Day Jersey Auction immediately following the game. Proceeds from the auction will benefit MDA, the Junior Everblades, the Stan & Haney Draft Fund and Barbara's Friends. Last season's St. Patrick's Day Jersey Auction raised $32,400 for local SW Florida charities.
The Blades battle the Generals in game two of the two game series on Saturday night at 7:30 PM. Prior to the game on Saturday, the Blades are hosting a fan forum. The doors for the fan forum will open at 5:00 PM and the forum will run from 5:30 - 6:30 PM. Attendees include President/GM Craig Brush, Head Coach Gerry Fleming, Assistant Coach Terry Lindgren, TECO Arena Vice President of Operations Steve St. John, Vice President of Sales/Marketing Mark Miller, "The Voice of the Everblades" Dan Guenther and the Advertising & Promotions Coordinator Joshua Schwinghamer. The Everblades will also hand out 2,000 sets of 2003-04 trading cards prior to Saturday's game. Prior to the game on Saturday, Florida will host a meet and greet with Everblades players for members of the Florida Everblades Kid's Club from 6:30 - 7:00 PM.
