Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL have announced that defenseman Steve Munn has been loaned to Bridgeport of the American Hockey League. Munn will join the Sound Tigers immediately and is expected to make his AHL debut in Hartford tomorrow.

In his second professional season, Munn begins his first stint in the AHL. The North Battleford, SK native leads the Bullies in plus-minus ratio with a plus-28 through 58 games. He's also collected a goal and 7 assists on the season.

Munn becomes the eleventh Bullie this season to receive an AHL promotion, and the second to be loaned to Bridgeport along with Preston Mizzi. He joins goaltender Jake Moreland, defensemen Kirk Furey and Brian Fahey, and forwards Jim Henkel, Sam Paolini, and Alexandre Jacques who are currently playing in the AHL.

The seven Bullies currently on AHL rosters sets a franchise record for the number of players playing in the AHL at the same time.

In other news, the Bullies did not complete any more trades prior to today's 3PM trading deadline.

Atlantic City returns to Boardwalk Hall at 7:05PM on Friday to battle the Peoria Rivermen. The Bullies will be wearing specialty jerseys culminating the "Face-Off Against Kids Cancer" sponsored by Benchmark Mortgage. Those game-worn autograph jerseys will be available for purchase in a silent auction on Friday and continuing on in a live online auction at www.boardwalkbullies.com through March 31. For more information or to order tickets, call (609) 348-PUCK.
