
Ice Pilots To Visit Schools for D.A.R.E. Next Week

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots are proud to announce that they are teaming up with D.A.R.E. police officers and visiting schools in the Pensacola area as part of the D.A.R.E. program and D.A.R.E. Night at "The Hangar" on Friday, March 26th vs. Columbus at 7:05 p.m.
Ice Pilots players and D.A.R.E. police officers will be visiting schools Monday through Wednesday. The following is a list of the schools and times that will be visited:
Monday, March
22nd 7:45 a.m. A.K. Suter Elementary School and Holm Elementary
Tuesday, March
23rd 12:30 p.m. Scared Heart at 12th and Marino and Hallmark School
1:00 p.m.

Wednesday, March 24th 7:45 a.m. Scenic Heights Elementary
12:30 p.m. Cordova Park Elementary
The Ice Pilots will also be at the Southeast Library in Perdido on Wednesday, March 24th from 4:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. Brian Collins and Peter Fregoe will be signing autographs and talking hockey.
Brian Eklund and Dwayne Hay will also sign autographs on Wednesday, March 24th at Sports Avenue from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. located inside Cordova Mall.
The Ice Pilots continue their six game road trip tonight vs. Texas at 7:05 p.m. Fans will be able to listen to the game on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network with flagship station WCOA AM 1370, mediacom TV guide channel 51, Cox media channel 2 and 22, ESPN Radio 1340 in Ft. Walton and Okaloosa County and at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue.
The Ice Pilots final three home games of the season are Friday, March 26th vs. Columbus at 7:05 p.m. It is D.A.R.E. Night. The first 1,000 fans will receive an Ice Pilots team poster with a post game autograph session to take place after the game with the team.
The Ice Pilots will play home to Texas on Saturday, March 27th at 7:05 p.m. It is Military Celebration and Baptist Hospital Recognition Night. Also, IHOP will sponsor a Bunny Toss. Fans are asked to bring a stuffed Bunny Animal to the game and when the Ice Pilots score the first goal of the game to toss the bunnies onto the ice. The bunnies will be distributed to local children organizations in the Pensacola area.
The final home game of the regular season is Tuesday, March 30th vs. Texas at 7:05 p.m. It is Fan/Corporate Appreciation Night. The first 1,000 fans will receive a fan flashlight courtesy of Beal's Department Stores.

Kelly Cup Playoff strips are available for the Ice Pilots playoff games this year and season tickets for the 2004-2005 season are on sale by calling the Ice Pilots office at 432-7825.
