March 18, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Cincinnati Cyclones News Release
The Dayton Bombers handed the Cyclones their second consecutive loss by a score of 5-2 on Wednesday in Dayton. With the defeat, the Cyclones fall to 24-38-3 on the year. Olivier Proulx scored twice for the Bombers as they pulled to within two points of the Clones for eighth in the Northern Division.
Things started well for the Cyclones as Phil Lewandowski started the scoring on a power play just 2:48 into the game. The Cyclones also scored the game's final marker when Mike Henderson scored with 3:27 left in the game. In between, the Bombers scored five unanswered.
Proulx recorded two of the Dayton markers. Brian Ridolfi, Chad Theuer and Janne Jokila recorded the other Dayton goals.
The Cyclones return to U.S. Bank Arena on Friday for a showdown with the Toledo Storm. It's the Storm's final appearance of the season at U.S. Bank Arena. WWE Superstar Batista will be in attendance, and Cyclones fans Bill and Kirsten will be wed during the intermissions. Tickets are available via all Ticketmaster outlets including U.S. Bank Arena box office, by phone (513-562-4949) or on-line at ticketmaster.com.
