Chiefs To Have Mascot Day Sunday vs. Dayton

Johnstown, PA- The second annual "Johnstown Chiefs Mascot Day," will be held this Sunday, March 21st, when the Chiefs host the Dayton Bombers. Game time is at 2:30 p.m.

Joining Chiefs mascots "Iron Dog," and "Iron Puppy," will be several mascots from local businesses and sports teams. Scheduled to take part in the event: "Steamer," and "Diesel Dog," from the Altoona Curve; "L.C. Bee," from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board; "Chilly Willy," from Planet Ice; "Hoss Man," from Hoss's Steak and Sea House; "Gigi," from Toys R Us; "Wild Thing," from the Washington Wild Things; "Cookie," from Eat N' Park; and "Tookey Bird," from Key 95.

The mascots will be roaming the arena and will assist the "Iron Dog," and "Iron Puppy," during intermission promotions.

Saturday, March 27th, when the Chiefs host the Trenton Titans (7:00 p.m.), several characters from the hockey film "Slap Shot," will be in attendance. Fans will have the opportunity to get autographs and meet with some of the cast from the greatest hockey movie ever.

Sunday, March 28th is Jeff Sullivan bobble head and Fan Appreciation Day. The first 2,000 fans through the gate will receive a limited edition Jeff Sullivan bobble head doll. In addition, hundreds of prizes will be given away at random for fans.
